New Course: CompTIA Network+ (N10-007)

For the first time, four CBT Nuggets trainers teamed up to bring you the new and improved CompTIA Network+ N10-007 course.

Trainers Keith Barker, Jeremy Cioara, Chuck Keith, and Anthony Sequeira collaborated to produce this 228-video, entry-level course that covers the fundamental networking topics validated by the latest version of the popular certification from CompTIA.

In March, CompTIA released the new version of the Network+ exam. N10-007 replaces the N10-006 exam, which will retire in August 2018. Until that time, learners can still access training for the previous version of the exam.

CompTIA expanded the domains covered in the new N10-007 exam into technologies and concepts they consider to be foundational, including:

• Critical security concepts,

• Cloud computing best practices and service models,

• New hardware and virtualization techniques; and,

• Network resiliency.

In addition to these curriculum changes, the course will look a little different than previous CBT Nuggets courses. Expanding on the core learning principle of "One Concept, One Nugget," we're now producing skill-based modules that comprise a course series.

Five domains comprise the Network+ N10-007 course:

1. OSI Layers, Ports & Protocols

2. Deploying Appropriate Cabling Solutions

3. Network Diagram and Documentation

4. Physical Security & Common Network Attacks

5. Troubleshooting Methodology
